It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School and Nursery website.
Holy Trinity is a large, all-through, two-form entry church primary school with a nursery situated off-site, but still conveniently located on Benner Lane.
I have worked at Holy Trinity for many years, and I am proud of the school I now lead and the positive impact it has on the families it serves. Our school is a fantastic place to learn, play and work – in extensive grounds and at the centre of a supportive village and church community. Holy Trinity School is a close and caring community, which values each child as an individual.
Our vision is at the heart of what we do and is based on what is also at the heart of the Christian message – love. Jesus said: “There is no other commandment greater than these – you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart…...you shall love your neighbour as yourself.”(Mark 12 v30, 31) Our vision is to create a community where everyone feels Loved, Inspired, Nurtured, and Empowered, it is our golden LINE. We strive to instil Christian values that will give our pupils the best possible chance for positive relationships and success, both personally and in their future places of learning and work.
We are a school where the needs of the whole child are important and we strive to not only meet their educational needs but their social and emotional needs too, in this way we aim to see them flourish. We promote positives attitudes to education, to ensure our children have all they need to become lifelong lovers of learning, who can reach their full potential and become good global citizens too. Holy Trinity is a busy school in which a balanced curriculum is experienced, expectations are high and behaviour is good.
An important part of our ethos is to value the partnership we have with parents, as we know that working closely together helps children to benefit fully from school. Parents and guardians play a crucial role in the educational journey of our students, and we value their partnership and support. Together, we can create a positive and enriching experience for all our children.
This website will give you an accurate and helpful glimpse of the school, but should any further information be required, we are always happy to answer any questions.
Appointments to visit us in action are very much encouraged. Tours of the school are arranged at suitable times for prospective parents in the new intake year. For admissions at other times, please ring the school to check the availability of places and to arrange a tour as necessary.
I look forward to meeting many of you in the future.
